Sean Anderson
My name is Sean Anderson, and I am from London - the capital city of England.
As a child, I loved to read about dinosaurs, history, explorers, and astronomy.
I also loved art and won prizes for my pictures at school. As a young adult, I started learning martial arts, and then discovered rock climbing.I still go climbing every week, and exercise almost every day.
I came to Japan in 2002, but had previously spent a lot of time in Southeast Asia as a backpacker.
I had always dreamt of visiting Japan, and especially wanted to see the temples, shrines, and onsens that make
Japan such a special country.
When I arrived in Japan, I was surprised to discover that the Japanese people enjoy laughing and having fun.
Japanese children are intelligent, and are always studying hard. Many have great skills such as playing the piano, or excellence insport, and many also speak English very well!
Japanese students who do well in English usually have a strong desire to discover more about other people and other countries, and make friends. And they are not afraid to make mistakes!
For me, teaching is about real communication. Everyone as an individual with hopes and dreams, but also fears too. I want to helpthem relax and enjoy using English to find out more about the world.
By learning English, it becomes easier to travel and talk with people. By meeting new people, we become tolerant and
understanding of others. I hope English will bring people together to share their lives, and so bring harmony to the world
Mila
Hi everyone. My name is Mila. I was always interested in seeing the world, so I have been traveling to
more than 20 countries since I graduated from my university where I studied linguistics to be
a professional teacher. I have been teaching English at Gaigo Center since 2007, and I have
taught all ages and levels. I would like my students to enjoy the time they spend at school,
so I always try my best to keep them interested, and make them like English. I know how
hard it is to learn a foreign language but I also know how much fun it can be if you learn in
the right way. I think it is important for students to study at their own pace in an environment
they are comfortable in. I teach each student according to their own personal needs and try to
make the lesson an enjoyable and relaxed experience. I hope all of my students will be able to
communicate with foreigners in English, and enjoy international friendships and perspectives..
Looking forward to meeting you.
.My name is Anne. I was born in Berlin, the main capital of Germany. In my free time I love to read books, preferably crime and mystery. I also like to cook and I do gardening.?
I've been living in Japan for 4 years now and I love Tokyo because it is so hypermodern on the one hand but there are so many traditional little things as well. For example the Sento, I love going to the Sento in my neighborhood now and then.?
I am an eager, creative and enthusiastic teacher who tries to cover my students` needs in order to improve the four skills in the target language. Also I have a lot of patience especially when teaching to children. Besides, I am very responsible and serious in my work.
Let's study together!
Hi everyone!
My name is Gregory Schmitt. I was born in a town called Thionville in northeastern France. I like sports very much; especially tennis and football, and I also spend hours in front of my computer on the internet every day.
I came to Japan for the first time in 2003, and I started my life here in 2006. I've lived in Kansai region before coming to Tokyo. I really love Japanese food, and I also like to study the Japanese language, despite I feel like I will never master
it fully.I teach French and English languages at GC. I really enjoy my classes here,
with children, teenagers and adults. During the lessons, I always do my best for all the students to enjoy the class, and I want them to make quick progress in order to be able to communicate with foreign people. I hope they will make a
good use of what they study in class, so that they can someday use it for work,
travel, hobby, or just in their everyday life!
Hi everybody! My name's Evan, and I'm from San Diego, California. I first came to Japan when
I had the opportunity in college, but I liked it so much that I had to come back! My hobbies
are music production, DJing, photography, and hiking. I'm also really into pirates. Do you like
pirates?
I've been teaching English as a second language for more than 5 years, and I think the most
important thing when speaking a foreign language is to feel comfortable and speak as naturally
as possible; speaking becomes a LOT harder when you're stressed! I hope that in my lessons,
students will be able to learn about other cultures, different ways of thinking, and be able to
express themselves in another language. I like teaching adults to learn more about different
people, and I love teaching kids to have fun and act like a kid. I even like bad kids!
